COMMITMENT TO YOUR PRIVACY

This site is owned and operated by Bryan McCammon of North Little Rock, Arkansas (alumnus of the Monticello Class of 1986). Your privacy on the Internet is of the utmost importance and is taken seriously. For this reason reasonable steps have been taken to protect the privacy of those that visit this website. Bear in mind, however, this is a not for-profit website. It is maintained by one person and is done on a low budget. So its fair to say that I do not have the resources to establish the same level of privacy thatt commercial websites would normally have.

This website gathers the following information about users:

Optional Voluntary Information

This website offers the following services, which require some type of voluntary submission of personal information by users:

1. E-mail/Personal Data

This site gathers the personal information and email addresses of users who voluntarily submit the information. This information can be viewed either by all registered classmates or by only class administrators and class planners, depending on which security setting is selected by the user when he registers. The security setting may be changed by the user whenever he chooses. This information may be used by other users to communicate with that user.

2. Message boards/forums

Users of the site's Discussion Boards and Forums must register separately in order to post messages, although they needn't register to visit the site. During registration the user is required to supply a username, password, and email address. Also, registration to the forums along with verification by the administrator is required in order to access the Class database.

CHILDREN

Consistent with the Federal Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), we will never knowingly request personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13 without requesting parental consent. Consistent with the nature of this website, since this is a class reunion website, I ask that no minors submit any information on this website unless they have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

USAGE TRACKING

This website tracks user traffic patterns throughout all of our sites. However, we do not correlate this information with data about individual users.

SHARING OF THE INFORMATION

We will not share information about individual users with any third party, except to comply with applicable law or valid legal process or to protect the personal safety of our users or the public. This information voluntarily submitted may be provided to other class members or to class planners and administrators depending on the security setting selected by the user.

SECURITY

This website utilizes logon security and group privileges to determine access to the information voluntarily submitted by users. As stated previously, the budget of this website is very small so this website might not have access to the same security features as a website with a larger budget. Secured Socket Layer (a service that provides encryption of secure internet traffic) has a price that exceeds the budget of this website.

PICTURES

This site may contain pictures of past events, either from past reunions or from our time at school. Since the intent of this website is to celebrate the Class of 1986, it is reasonable to believe that most class members would not object to the posting of pictures with their images on this website. Since it would take considerable effort to locate each individual in each picture to obtain consent and since these pictures do not contain any information that could seriously compromise the privacy of an individual, the photo images are posted. If any individual feels that one or more pictures are a violation of their privacy, they may request removal by contacting the webmaster at webmaster@billies1986.org.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY

By using this website, you consent to the collection and use of this information as described above. You agree to hold the web administrator (Bryan McCammon), other class administrators, and class reunion planners harmless from all liabilty and damages, whether direct or indirect. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page so that you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it. If you have any issues regarding this policy or the website, you shall contact the web administrator.
